Raphael Macek was born in Brazil into a family of animal lovers. His father, a horse breeder and veterinarian, instilled in Raphael his passion for and love of horses. This relationship and his lifetime’s experience have made Raphael Macek one of the most important contemporary horse photographers in the world today.
We decided the best way to share the spirit of our land was through the lens of Raphael Macek. Our friendship and mutual love of animals led us to join our passions and donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Raphael’s work to organizations dedicated to horse rescue and sanctuaries, as well as protection of wild life habitat in the Napa Valley.
